Revelations Trail
Lead a group of unique monsters—each with their own special abilities—against the relentless assault of a religious order. The goal is to protect your castle from being overrun by invaders determined to convert everything to their faith. You control three distinct monsters:
- A phantom that excels in close combat.
- A cat that repairs damaged parts of the castle.
- A skeleton archer that provides ranged support.
The religious forces are equally dangerous, with melee attackers, ranged monks, and the powerful Pope serving as the final boss. The game presents a mix of strategy, fast-paced decision-making, and survival as you manage your monsters’ skills to fend off each wave of enemies.
Controls
Camera Scrolling: The camera automatically scrolls vertically when the mouse pointer approaches the top or bottom edges of the screen.
Please note that in the web version, this feature might not work as intended depending on the browser used.
Placing Castles: Castles can be placed by using drag-and-drop mechanics. Simply click and drag the castle with the cursor to your desired location.
Development
The game was developed within a short time frame as part of a job application, where it showcased the usage of Bricks Bucket, despite its simplicity and unfinished state it was a valuable learning experience that led to a job offer, although a different opportunity was ultimately chosen.
The game’s visuals were designed by Yahir Lima, who provided quick and creative assets for the project.
